R50/53 Question for ALL Cooper (non-S) owners

Only three problems and all covered (BTW - I paid extra for the 75,000 mile coverage)
1st - Driver side window motor less then 5,000 miles (window got stuck in the up position).
2nd - Left tie rod - less than 10,000 miles
3rd - Again Left tie rod at 63,000 miles (end of October 07) Classic Mini even picked up the cost of the alignment.
Have noticed passenger side seat will not slide forward, but I think that was my darling spawn who broke it.
Will easily hit 67,000 miles by the end of this month. Extremely happy with purchase --- Delivered Dec. 9th 2003.

how much did you pay to replace the clutch at 60k?
While in Warrenty: (Up to 36k)
Seat back on passenger seat got stuck in the down position
Drivers door handle came "unhooked" a few times, I had to roll the window down in the rain to use the outside handle to get out.....
Out of warrenty:
Clutch replaced at 60k
Clutch slave at 81k
Radiator/hose leaking.....I still need to look at that...
I am now comming up on 82,000 on my 03 R50.....

The legendary Steve's Auto in North Hills, California did the job for $500.00. I provided him with the parts too. He said that doing a clutch on a cooper would be a welcome change for him from all the MCS clutch's he does.
