Curb Appeal!

hey,
I'm thinking about selling my 2002 mini (non-S) yellow/black and getting a new one! What are some things that I can do to my mini to make it more likely to sell and at a higher price? Any advice would be great!!

well its more about what you have been doing than what you can do now. I am of course talking about service records. If you can find all of your maintenance records, you will easily raise its value by a significant amount. Aside from that, condition the leather, give it a good cleaning, take some good pictures for cars.com, and hope for the best! Good luck!

I agree with Slickfast. Good points.

I just sold a Jeep Liberty CRD in order to get into my new Mini. I sold on eBay and made $7500 more than the dealer was offering in trade. eBay can be a pain, but I had really good luck with it this time and it was definitely worth the trouble.

Good luck.

go get it detailed top to bottom, you'd be really surprised how much that can raise the price, especially if you're trading it to the dealer for the new one.

Wax it, a good coat of wax will make any pictures you take make your car look brand new.

I helped my dad get his '05 Honda S2000 ready for sale this summer. He sold it in a matter of days. I'd like to say it was thanks to our detailing, however I think it was because the car only had 1,500miles on it. The paint was abused though, he never washed it really. Wax helped get all the swirls out, really brings out the shine.
