... and He has always liked the Mini as well ...
The latest Road & Track has a one-page write-up on the JCW 'S' and Egan's column is about friends of Egan's trying to convince him to get a new MINI - and almost succeeding!
If you are at all like me, you can agree that Egan is about the best columnist out there - and when either Cycle World or R&T arrive each month, his is the first thing I read ... so nice to see that he can see in MINI's what we saw all along!

It seems that most of the write-ups on the JCW package also include at least a question about wheather it's worth the money or not ..... so if it's not your cup-o tea, Don't Get It! .... and for the record, Egan didn't write the JCW page, just the column ...

... actually, he liked it alot - but his wife was not convinced: she thought the interior was too contrived and prefered the Mini to the MINI !

I heard about this column the other day but I don't think it's on the newsstands yet. It's always great to hear nice things from Egan. I would be nearly devastated if he wasn't kind to the Mini. Egan just always gets it.
If you want more kind words, I was reading Automobile and they were doing a long term test on an Acura NSX-S and in the comments section, the writers kept saying how perfect it was but kept saying how the Cooper S overshadowed the Acura by revealing its lack of character...

Well, I guess we all know how he really feels about the MINI. I got my R&T today, and Side Glances is all about Peter taking delivery of his BRG/W MCS. I just knew he wouldn't be able to resist!
