LOL...I hope this thread is helping and not just making you crazy!
I went around and around on color too, but in the end decided on the
Chili red/white/stripes combo. I figured I'd let my MINI be a MINI,
and to me, that meant that color combination. Go with your gut. You
know what you really want--do what makes you happiest.
And if you want both colors, you can always get two!
(And just a word of warning about the black roofs...I hear that they can
get pretty hot, and warp.)

I found I could decide the options in no time but I agonized over the color of MINI I wanted for 3 months!
I say you ask your self, which of the two colors "Ping" your brain. What's the one you can't get out of your mind, the one your eye loves to look at. That's how I decided in the end. Ask which one would have you regretting later that you didn't get it.
I have chosen to get the Chili Red / White / Union Jack because I thought if I got blue I 'd always say "what if" thinking about the Red and regretting I didn't have a Red one.

Color me blonde !I just clicked on the two photos and realized you have posted my "dream MINI" from my gallery. and yes, when I order "Madeline" she will look just like that!!!!

I found out today that I was approved from my car loan so Im driving to Memphis on Saturday to place my order. I'll take one last look around the dealership at the different color combos they have but im pretty sure im going CR/W. Everytime I look at a pic of that combo I feel the love. EB/B is still great but just doesn't give me that tingle.

I have heard that the Electric Blue color will become a 'classic' color for 2003, 2004, in other words that it will be discontinued after a year of production, this to give the electric color an special appeal for this year's cars... I heard this at the dealer when i was getting my mini a month ago
The salesman told me so and i pretty much believed him as he said that the light metallic green had been the 2002-2003 'classic' color and that the electric blue was replacing it. There are no more light metallic green cars into production
I would've bought the electric blue if it was available for the regular cooper, in Mexico they only have it for the S.
Go for the Electric Blue with white roof...

After seen the EB/EB and comparing it to the white and black roof combos, I think the more unique one would be the EB/B.
I wonder why Minis with colored roofs have all black mirrors. I bet they would look much better with colored ones...
Anyway, if you cant decide: Then go for a chili red with electric blue roof or electric blue with a chili red roof just kidding
