Has anyone installed the JCW shift ****? What is the little piece in the bottom and how do I attach it? I have yet to take my stock **** off...but just by looking it seems like it may be an issue....

anyone willing to consult on this?

to remove the old.....yank! (be sure to hold on tight and don't hit anything). to install the JCW....line it up, pop it down. The plastic collar is two piece...they interlock vertically. Slide them apart, pull the boot down, but the larger piece towards the front of the car, slide the smaller one up in, up into the ****. Pull the boot up. Done.

I admit...I didn't get it either and I'm a quick study. install instructions would be nice.
