My uncle has a 03 R53, and he drove my 06 R53 and he fell in love with how much more power and torque she has,
so he's been bit with the modding bug
therse a bunch of things i've done that i can do to his except for the Alta pulley and OCC, and the GIAC tune
so where in the Chicago area can i get this done?

Sometimes we have owner mod days that we pool our skills and sometimes Whalen comes up from Indy. OCC seemslike a pretty simple install. With the right tools I wouldn't think a pulleyis out ofthe question at a mod day.

 

well i know that TyrolSport at in NY they had to life my engine to install a pulley, so im not sure if they do that to an 03, and how it would be done

 

+1 for Way from Way Motor Works. Indy is not that far and it is a cool day hanging out with him working on the car and listening to all the cool stories.

 

Slightly O/T here, but maybe useful to Chicago-area owners:
-- Glenbard Auto Body in Lombard will do small-body-parts painting very reasonably;
-- if you hafta get a windshield replaced: Pedro Mendoza at Safelite in Wood Dale has done MINIS before, and does a NICE, CAREFUL job!

 

I'm not sure if P&L Mortorsports doesn't do MINIs a bit.
They're pretty known Subaru shop but i think I've seen a MINI there few times
