Intake?

What is the best intake for an 05 mcs convertable? It is my girlfriends car and she does not want it too loud, I know a used promini intake for sale for $90, is it worth it at that price?
Thanks

Dinan or JCW if you want to keep the noise down

A Pro Mini is good for that price. I have one and it is not that loud. You can always go bigger later. Way has some new and used JCW intakes for sale @ www.waymotorworks.com

Happy shopping.

Most intakes will only get loud (or louder) when you get on it. Personally, I find this to be an enjoyable sound. If you have a MINI rally in your area you and your girlfriend could check out several different options before you buy.

Thanks guys for the info, I'll probably drive it as much as her since when we go some where together it always seems to be my turn to drive no matter whos car we take. It should be much more enjoyable now with her MINI as opposed to Cavalier . I wanted to put something on it since I have that disease where I have to hook every new toy I get. I'm sure most of you guys are also infected with this wallet debilitating illness.

Indeed. Just stop eating, you save money that way. Or eat cheap food. I wish they had CalorieMate in America. That stuff is cheap and it's an entire meal's worth of nutrition, for only ¥210. That's about $1.79 and yes, it's possible to live off of it. I've done it for up to a week. Even shitty food is the best you've ever eaten after a week of CalorieMate. But it is great breakfast food.
