I'm planning on purchasing a Aero Kit from a OEM detailer for my new MINI .. I very interested in installing the kit myself along with a friend of mine. I don't know if its a good idea .. but ehhh ... Anyways ... My question is ...

what other things to I need to further secure my front and rear skirt other than the bolts itself.. I heard that people use 3m tape... some used some special adhesive gum ...

HELP !?

Thanks

You should start by reading the instructions ...

... which may be found here : http://www.bridger.us/mini/howto/Aer...%20Bodykit.PDF

... and that should give you an idea about if you want to tackle it or not ...

Wow, the instruction set for the Aero kit is more than twice as long as the instructions set for the JCW upgrade! Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
