I thought I was getting bad. You guys are sounding like me. I bought my mini to replace my truck and take some wear from my 4runner for the commute. but I don't need as many cars as I have. I need to get rid of some but I hate to sell my truck. it was my first car. I bought it 10 years ago and now have 250K on it.

I anticipate my cooper S to get 20K per year and my truck to drop to 1000 and my 4 runner to drop to 7000. The rest are toys they don't get much drive time. They are investments. well that is what I keep telling myself.

-1989 Toyota pickup POS
-1996 Toyota 4runner
-2003 Mini Cooper S
-1942 Ford GPW (jeep) car shows clasic car runs, airshows etc
-1943 ****** jeep (awaiting restoration then for sale)
-1945 ****** jeep (awaiting restoration then for sale)
-1943 Bantam T-3 (jeep trailer) accessory to above jeeps
-1927 Ford Model T speedster (awaiting restoration)
-1937 Plymouth Pickup (awaiting restoration)

all this and only a 2 car garage

Nice to know I'm not alone.

03 Cooper VR/B bought May 03, already has 5000 miles
95 GMC pickup - was putting 110 a day on it. Hasn't been driven more than 50 since I got the Mini
93 Accord - 190K - been sitting for at least a year. Need the years to catch up the mileage used.
02 Odyssey - was the mileage hog til the Mini. Took it everywhere. Now I catch the wife sneaking into the Mini to run all her errands, taxi the kids etc.

Figure the 36K warranty will last a little over a year , maybe year and a half.

But heh! Its fun driving so who cares?!?!

Happy Motorin'

My other car is a supercharged M3.

- I have an AA supercharger 322rwhp 281trq
- AA Track pipe
- Stoptech BBK
- Koni SA's with H&R sport springs
- 17 x 8 SSR Comps SML with SO3's
- UUC System U exhaust

I drive my MCS daily. My M3 would get me into too much trouble if I drove it daily. I save the fun for the track.

Honestly, the MCS is always a blast to drive!
