I just bought a 04 mini and love it but...... There are run flats on the car with stock 16" rims w/ wheel locks. The previous owner lost the lug key. manual and spare ig key.The problem is, I live in ST. Thomas so there are no dealers and large auto parts stores. I want to replace the tyres but am told the run flats require a special machine removal.(true?) So, I'd like to change to 15" rims w/ coventional tyres. Our roads are bad and would like to have more tyre between the rim and the road. Make sense? Also, I have a spare. Why a spare if car came w/run flats?
Also, Where to get a spare ig key and what is that little red **** like thing on the top of the dash?
