I'm thinking about painting the brake calipers on my liquid yellow MINI. Does anybody have pictures of a LY with painted calipers? I prefer to see a side shot showing both front and back tires at the same time. I helped a friend paint his DS Cooper S calipers in red and they look great.

What color? There's a lot of colors of caliper paint out there. I'm going to do my LY/W MCS with red calipers. Going to order the G2 paint kit. A co-worker has a Blue Suburu with yellow calipers. Yellow matches up with the Blue paint better than red would. Out of all the colors for calipers, red should look the best with a LY MINI.

I've been experimenting with different colors using Photoshop but you really don't know how it's going to look in person.

Yep, I think the yellow would clash.

Have you been to tirerack's web site and seen the colors available in the G2 kit? That should give you a pretty good idea of what to use in PS to test color combinations.

The yellow wouldn't be the same exact color. But I have a yellow MINI window sticker and I have gotten many compliments even though the sticker is brighter.

On other thing to consider... Porche uses red breaks on their standard upgrade and yellow on their super upgrade. Sorry I don't know the exact car I only heard it from a friend.
