Thursday i took My S into the shop for its first "inspection". I complained that the car was drifting so i wanted them to look at it... They found 2 bent rims. So, two new rims and an alignment later, i was out $770.00 . The rims had to be replaced cuz my tires were wearing unevenly...anyways....

Then yesterday i was sitting in a parking lot waiting for my friend, when outa nowhere billows of white smoke came from my engine :smile: wahh wahh wahh).

By the time we got there the dealer was closed. Thank God there was one mechanic left cleaning the shop. I cought him as I was finishing up. He unlocked the gates and let me drop my car off. BUT... The MINI mechanics dont arrive untill Monday.

I never had a fear of Friday the 13th unitll now Hehe

I must have bent the rims over the winter... I hit this now "legendary" pothole in my area. At least 2 dozen cars fell victim to it. The bastard was atleast 3-5 inches deep and a foot or so around... it was filled with water and looked like the road.

A little ways past it was a 528i changing a tire...
