R50/53 Source for Fuel Sensor
Source for Fuel Sensor
Does anyone know a source for a replacement Fuel Sensor? I was just quoted about $550 to replace the sensor, which has been not functioning correctly lately, by Mini of Peabody. Not sure what type of labor I would be getting myself into, I'll look into doing it myself. I know the sensor is accessed by removing the rear seats, but beyond that, it would be an experiment.
So, if anyone has done this, or knows a place to buy the sensor, I'd greatly appreciate any info.

Ahh, if only I had taken it in as soon as it happened, I was at abot 47k. Then it started working again, so I let is slide. Then it began doing it againg, registering 0 on the fuel gage. Now I am at 52k (its working fine now) but no more warranty. My mistake.
First thing I would do is check all the wiring connectors and grounds, from the top of the tanks all the way. Sounds like a loose connector or bad ground... maybe not, but checking sure is cheaper than buying all those parts.
