Sorry if this has been covered- tried search but must not have found right terms. I bought a used (05 w/7000miles) S. Couldn't be happier!! My question is: how do I find out what options were installed on this car? Is there somewhere I can use the vin to get the info?

I've learned alot already by reading through the forums, thanks for any help!

LOL... you're in the right place - welcome!

If you can shoot a few pics of the interior and the exterior I'm sure we can tell you. Be sure to shoot the enghine bay as well. I believe there is a way to check the VIN and see what the initial add-ons were, but obviously the owner might have done more after delivery. Are you just wondering about performance add-ons or all the way down to chrome package/seat types, etc.?

I have the HK stereo, bluetooth, 17" wheels...

The reason I'm asking is the inside wheel starts to spin, but I'm out of the turn before I can tell if it's going to continue to spin or not. I was told by the dealer (Toyota- started the deal while they were still appraising it-right place & right time!!) the owner had every option available except navigation installed. I would think the inside wheel would not spin long enough for me to notice, if it had LSD.

I'm in Sales for MINI in Canada. All you have to do is call a MINI dealer in the America with your VIN and they will be able to tell you all of the factory installed options. I would do it for you but unfortunately our system only tells us about Canadian cars. Good luck!

Have your VIN handy.
They'll tell you the packages and options along with when the warranty will expire. They will also tell you WHERE the car was serviced, but not WHAT was done. Just call the dealers they list for details.
