Out in left field

So I'm phartin' around on the inter-web this morning, and looked at the web-site of the place I bought Emily, and saw he has an '04 MCS Monte Carlo, with 10,301 moles for $22,000.
Not being familiar with this iteration (I always wanted to use that word), I read some of the details on the car. The interior is described as "leather/leatherette".
My question (among many in life) is; are our interiors real leather? The material feels like leather, absorbs liquid (cleaner, Lexol, chocolate frappes) like leather, and develops wrinkles and creases like leather.
I may have too much time on my hands.
Thanks,
Hegira

That all depends. The MC40 was all leather. That doesn't mean your car is. Did you buy a leather interior? And this is about seats ... not really "all leather".

I adopted Emily with 18,000 on the clock, so I don't know what options she was originally ordered with. I should contact a dealer and find out.

If it feels like leather and absorbs, it is leather. The MINI leatherette certainly isn't soft or supple and it sure doesn't absorb (unless you think solid rock absorbs).
