Mine is named Margarita, a green name, but I don't think I've ever called it that. Depending on my mood I've called it just about everything else imaginable though...

I DO! All three of my cars have had names....the MINI is the first female though. (DeeDee...aka. TheCoop.)

Name...nickname...

Overhere, we all have a nickname, and nick-name is different from name..not related.
In USA, if your name is Cathy, your friend might call you Cat for nickname. But in Thailand, you will have a nickname like Funn (Meaning-Dust) and the name might be Jakgrit...that how it work here. Every Thai have NIckname.

So my car does have one too...its name MINI ...and the nickname is Naomi ( at this moment).
I got Naomi for 3 days now. Soooo cool...but tried leg!!! :evil: :evil:

Joining this list. It's just MINI, or The MINI, or The Cooper. Now my mascot, that's a different story. Name's Nigel, the bulldog.

 

I always name my cars, just like the boat theory. For me major transportation should have a name. I have Steady Betty our Honda. Lucy my MINI, and my husbands P.O.S. PT Cruiser we named (after many mechanical problems) The Hindenberg. But it is an individual thing. I name cars, you don't have to!

My Mini is nameless. It may stay that way for it's entire life. I can't force a name on it. So far, the only two things the black and white color scheme reminds me of is an old police car or an oreo! Eventually, if it wants to, it'll provide the inspiration for a name. If it doesn't, cie la vie.

I did name my garage the "Mini-lair".....does that count??
