Wow! Late for class or not, after that experience I think I would have rolled right back there, dialed 911, and then waited patiently for the police to show up. On top of their obvious fsck-up, you could have put the icing in the cake by pressing charges as well. I think that type of driving can actually be considered assault with a deadly weapon, if I'm not mistaken.

Actually, I would be tempted to check with the police and see if you can still press charges. I'm sure the authorities had to log the event, unless they were able to drag the truck out by themselves. The only problem with going back now is that they *might* be able to charge you with leaving the scene of an accident, but I'm not sure because you weren't actually part of the accident. Even if they don't let you press charges, though, the police may appreciate you helping them "flesh-out" their report.

>>Don't get me wrong...I would never wish death on anyone....but if breaking an arm or leg or something is what it takes to show someone that they are a complete and utter moron, then so be it. I bet if one of those little biotches came out of that accident with some broken ribs, she wouldn't be such a pain in the a$$ to people on the road anymore.

Totally agree, L.Mini! Too many people have this feeling of invincibility when they drive their landbarges. This past winter we had lots of snow in Jersey, and I can't tell you how many flipped over SUVs during snowstorms I have seen in my commutes. Having a high center of mass, being heavy, and poor braking ability mixed with stupid people is a recipe for disaster! My buddy in TX pulled an Xterra out of a ditch with his truck during one of their freak snowstorms in Dallas this past year.

I would! The only way this story could have ended better is if the electrics shorted out in the Lexus so they couldn't open the doors or windows...then the sparks set off a fire...and you got to watch as their bratty little faces pressed on the inside of the glass and begged...and they are roasted alive..but not too quickly, maybe one limb at a time...ah, the screaming would be exquisite!

Oh, I forgot to mention if my previous post...

If the police do let you press charges, or at least file a complaint after the fact, then it will probably raise the chances of their insurance company claiming thaqt they were "AT FAULT" and raise their insurance premiums THROUGH THE ROOF! If there is no report, then they will probably say that "a deer ran in front of them, causing them to swerve", in which case it will be all the other insurance policy holders who pay the bill! Come on.... see if you can nail them!

WOW,

Their parents have obviously had too much on there minds to raise decent people.
Glad you were ok. Simple arrogance combined with ignorance=A-- Hole everytime.

I don't know about going back now, that might not work out so good. You realy should have stopped though. They did more than just drive the Lexus into the ditch and should have to answer for that. They are probably telling the police, and their parrents that 'YOU' ran them off the road. Even if they didn't get your plate number, their insurance company and their parents are going to pick up the bill and they walk away scott free. Justice was not served, well not fully anyway.

Why so much RAGE being directed at MINI drivers ?

That reminds me, some jerk pulled that slam on the brakes maneuver on I-696 here in Michigan and caused a 5 car last year. He was charged with attempted murder !!! And will probably do at least several months in prison. That's what those biotches deserve !!! The braking distance on the mini compared to that SUV is probably quite abit, and if you almost hit them, 75 % of the cars on the road would have !!! Those biothces belong in jail !!!!

Ok I am getting pissed just thinking about them !!!

Glad your ok !!! If it ever goes down like that again, and you can't stop, call it in imediately and offer to come down to the station after class. That way justice can be truely served !!!

>> .. then SUDDENLY One of the girls in the car wipe something at the car .. I don't know what it is ... but the BANG came from the passaner side of my CAR .. Than I was scared ... I opened my window and try to hear what they have to say ... All I hear of F this and F that .. MINI ... Afford ..

They were THROWING things at your car??!! They were definitely at fault and trying to cause an accident. What the F#ck?? You should definitely call the police on this one. They were totally out of control.

Did your car have any damage on the passenger side where whatever they threw hit it? That's evidence.

Glad you're okay. I'm shaken up just reading about it.

Don't you think if you pulled over and slowed down they would have passed you and that would have been the end of it? You were just as guilty as them whether you realize it or not by continuing to weave in and out of traffic, even if you were signaling.Just my opinion from 30 years of accident, speeding ticket and road rage free driving experience.

Sad to say but I'm glad they ended up in a ditch...maybe that moment and their stupid prior behavior will stick in their twisted little minds and they will have learned something. One can hope anyway....

i think getting to class on time is more important then worrying about someone else's mistakes in this situation. don't feel bad for not stopping. i would have done the same thing as you....
you did the right thing by trying to move out of their way... they deserved what they got....

He said that he pulled over and they pulled in right behind him, continuing to tailgate.

No sympathy here...

Just read it again and remembered that I got the thought half way through (the first time I read it) that "Ohhhh, maybe those girlies weren't angry, just interested in the MINI (and the driver).

Oh how my mind wanders; that would have been a GOOD story...

That's crazy. I would have stopped and provided they weren't seriously hurt, proceeded to laugh me *** off and let them know how stupid they are. And then when the cops came, tell them the whole story, and show the lipstick as evidence. I'm sure someone else would have stopped as a witness.

You are right. It was a crazy response.

However, stopping and hanging out would get you somehow pinned as responsible for sending those poor fools in theri truck into the ditch. You and your imported little sports car! Cops are human, don't you know.
