R50/53 MCS vs Si...
Please review NAM's Site Guidelines, paying particular attention to #5 and #14:
5. LEGAL
Posts relating to street racing, excessive speeding, or violations of other laws are prohibited. If you want to race, take it to a legal venue.
14. DISCIPLINE
Violation of any of the above rules will result in a warning and/or "1st Strike" by the moderation team via email or PM. Interpretation and enforcement of these guidelines is done by the moderators and staff of North American Motoring and all judgments are final. It is not possible to list every possible contingency and variation on each rule, hence the need for human interpretation by the above parties for each specific case.

I hate to tell you how to do your job, but you forgot the following Site Guidelines:
14.666 - POOPY ATTITUDE: Posts that are essentially crass or snarky in nature or that are followed by a minimum of four (4) "Me Too" posts by known post ****** shall be cause for receiving a written warning that may result in a potential first strike if noticed on the third Sunday of any given month starting with the letter "N". If you want to be crass or snarky to another human being, do it in person like a man - not over the internet like a teenage girl.
13-00401-GROSS HYPOCRISY: Posts that simultaneously call out another poster for bad behavior but are actually more offensive than the post being called out shall be deleted with extreme prejudice and the offender forced to write the Site Guidelines 40 times backwards with blood from his/her own left index finger. If you wish to point out the faux pas of another site member, you must do it in a manner befitting a person with class - not in a manner befitting a feces throwing chimp.
Hope that helps!

.......
-For all of you that have repeated over and over again by preaching to him about street racing. Go ***** some where else. It doesnt do any good..... People are always going to street race. He probablly doesnt have a track in his area.HAHA
-That does not make it okay, but just stop with the preaching. Its getting annoying.
-As for the original post questions, skip that.
-BUT WHY DOES THE SI BEAT THE MINI S IN MOST OF THOSE TEST LIKE SKIDPAD ECT.?!

And we're done
And we're done with this thread...
Except for the excessive speed, testing, or whatever you want to call it the discussion of performance numbers between similar cars and the MINI would have been interesting. With the mention of using public roads (and now having it deleted) only served to violate a site guideline and dry the ire of many members. Going forward I would like to see a couple of things from everyone:
1) No posting about how street racing (either by yourself or others), gross violations of posted speed limits, etc.
2) Before attacking the original poster about street racing simply report the post using the
button. We'll deal with the issue before the thread reduces into a bashfest.
Thanks!
Mark
