A glovebox door for an '02 S.

I contacted mini and alltogether parts and labor it will be over $300.00. I find this to be and absurd price for a small glovebox door. My problem is the latch part broke into about 3 pieces this morning. It used to pop open whenever I hit a bump. Now it's just stuck open without a latch. I really only need the latch piece but they said they cannot replace just that. I'll need the whole thing.

I'll need to know it will fit an '02 and also the key issue. If we can resolve this, I'll take it!!!!!!!
