R50/53 Question about audio with the Navigation Unit
Question about audio with the Navigation Unit
Hey fellas....
I got a 2004 Mini with the Navigation unit.... The original radio appears to have been replaced with a sony cd player.... My question is that the audio on the navigation unit is not working, could it be due to the aftermarket CD player? Where would I check to make sure it is properly connected...
Thanks in ADVANCE!

Unfortunetly if you swap out the headunit, you will lose nav voice and there is no way to fix it. Mikey (newministuff.com) had a solution, but it doesn't work that well and only plays the voice from the right speaker. If you want the voice back, you will need to reinstall the OEM radio.

that is what I thought.... thanks! With the MINI that I bought being a 2004 model, how do you find out it is a 6/2004 or 7/2004 as it turns out that makes a difference for the CD player
