OK, so I couldn't resist. I sprung for the Mini watch that looks like the Mini speedometer.

Only one problem. I can't for the life of me figure out how the resize clip on the watch band works. Some genius huh? So I'm stuck with a watchband set on Giant Size!

Anybody know how this thing works?

The owners manual has exactly one sentance in it and I quote; "Pull **** into the second position, now the hours and minutes (time) can be set.

Nice manual huh?

Help!?! Please!!

I got this one here in Las Vegas at the BMW/Mini dealer.
A word of warning...it's just a fun watch, no date, alarm, heck there's not even any minutes markings between 20 after and 40 after, so the hour window won't be blocked and also so it *looks* like the Mini's speedometer.

True to form, as is the Mini, not to practical but a whole lotta fun!

You can also order them from the Mini accessory catalog at the dealer.

I have this watch. Love it although I wish the little adjustment **** was smaller. Looks a little like the old style flashing lights on top of police cars.

Anyway, to adjust the band you have to pop up the little tensioning clip that is where the clasp latches on. Easiest way is to stick a very small screw driver into the notch against the band using the little metal clasp bar for leverage. Once you flip up that tensioner, the entire catch body can slide up and down the band. When it is in the correct place, just flip the catch back down. Make sure it is pressed all the way down. Kind of hard to descibe, but should make sense if you look at it.

If anyone needs pictures, let me know.

Thanks!
I had tried that but it was so darn hard that I bent my clasp slightly.
I was able to finally get it open.
Now it fits!!

I've already had some people ask me today what the heck is that thing!
I guess you can see from a distance that's it's not your typical watch.
Just like the the Mini huh?

Yeah, that's right.
I have one and love it. The **** is somewhat big, but it's also accent.
Any time I'm off, I use this watch...It really gives me relaxation.

I also have Mini cushion. It's so cute that my daughter took it and never return to me...
