OK, this sounds like a typical drunken practical joke from my Irish brother in-law (isn't Irish and drunk the same thing?)

Anyway, I got a message on my voice mail, in an Indian, Pakistani type accent (which he's been known to do) claiming to be from BMW, and calling about a recall on the supercharger for the Mini Cooper S.

Now, I haven't been able to reach my brother-in-law to see if it was him, so has anyone heard of a supercharger recall?

 

Recall notices are usually sent via mail or new release or both.
But, let's hope it was just a fun and games thing on your brother in laws part.
