R50/53 Solid Gold and MCO nomenclature
Has anyone noticed that the initials for the new color are the same as Silk Green??? So a SG/B could mean Solid Gold/Black or Silk Green/Black. Grrr.
Is this Mini trying to use MCO's way of describing colors to 'hide' the new color?
Also, on the new Mini Italian Job site, it sort of seems the Solid Gold color was meant to tie into the gold bars in the movie. I doubt that it actually was, but hey, they're making it look like it is.
At least it's fun to learn the original color names for the red, white and blue cars:
Island Blue
Tartan Red
Snowberry White
I thought someone said they used spice names??

How about: AU/B or AU/AUG?
Maybe 24K/B or 24k/24k?
Cheers,
Bill
