wow!!!! i could not make the opening at hollywood so my sister is there now they drove my car boy do i love her. they just called me and said there is over 300 mini's there in one place. everyone is in a drive-in setting and in their cars and the movie is about to start. they are having so much fun they can't believe they are so lucky to be there. they said there is old mini's and all the new ones. they have seen a panel, a convertable, allot of the old ones. they are parked next to mr beans car. what fun. they will call me at intermission or when they can and email me some car shots if i can i will post.

it DID seem like more, but it wasn't

i guess it's the biggest to date.

Clo - you probably have had enough fun already! So you did not miss much!

 

Waiting to get in was half the fun.
It was great to see so many mini's and the look on peoples faces when driving by a line of us stretching down the block. I think I even saw some SUV driver display a hint of wanting to simply drive over all of our little cars.

 

First, the school...I counted about 55 MINI's! Then, the drive to Paramount. I have NEVER seen so many smiles or been asked so many questions about the MINI in a single day ever! Totally awesome! Some some real nice classic MINI's too.

Let's not forget those of you that drove from as far away as Lake Tahoe to hang out with us...very cool!

As far as the movie goes, I enjoyed it. It was a whole lotta fun, and marky brad was in it too! Hey, 4 frames counts in my book!

 

sorry about the count. math is not my main fortay. but my sister said it was a blast and they sent me pictures today and the site has plenty so im just sorry i couln't go myself. hope to see the movie and many more mini's after this. by the way they said everything was compt. so that means that at least they didn't have to pay over sticker.
