Howdy,

Anybody know what's involved with the March 19th event? Is it a track day? Autocross? I'm looking to try out my new go-fast goodies.

This is going to be on the North (Big) Track. It will be a lot like a Flat-Out day with instructional time and in-car driving instructors. Those who prove their skills sufficiently through the day may be awarded "Solo" status by the end of the event which allows them to go on the track without an instructor. I know this event is going to be a blast! I can't wait!

Cost has not yet been finalized, but we expect to have that info this week. (We expect the price to be very reasonable.) We'll post it as soon as we find out. We'll also set up a pre-registration form on our website at that point.

We will be implementing a firm pre-registration cut-off date for all performance events going forward. Simply put, if we don't have enough pre-registrants by the cut-off date, the event will be cancelled (or possibly rescheduled). While it has seemed that the performance events generate a lot of interest, folks don't seem to want to commit to the events in advance. Unfortunately, the Club stands to lose large amounts of money (which it cannot afford) if we don't approach it this way.

One last thing - we still have open slots for drivers at the February Winter Driving event. This will be a lot of fun and there is cool stuff! Check this thread for more details.
