So has anyone done the Prodrive high performance driving course at Portland international raceway?

I'm curious if anyone has done it and think's it is worth the money. $399 dosen't sound that bad if you can spend the day out on the racetrack and get some good driving instruction

 

Well, I bit the bullet and signed up for the end of July. I'll let everyone know what it is like.

 

Are you running Dane Pittaresi's spec racer fords or your own car?

He runs a good school on a snug budget. I haven't personally run his classes, but I have freinds that have and got alot out of it. If nothing else, you'll really have an appreciation for how to quickly get around PIR.

 

This is the class where you run your own car with what sounds like an hour of individual instruction divided throughout the day. The class is limited to only a few cars too (I think they said 8-9) for the day.

I was thinking it would be a nice to take something like this before I participated in some of the autocross events. That way, I might have less chance of destroying my car

Plus it should be a blast to get PIR to myself.
