Santa Trolley..Christmas Ships Viewing

PDX MINI
Presents the

Santa Trolley - Cancelled due to weather

Saturday December 20 2008
All Aboard!!!
Tis the season to spend time with your fellow PDX MINIacs tracking along the Willamette River in an authentic antique trolley car operated by the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society, watching the Christmas ships pass by on the Willamette. We will have the pleasure of viewing both Flotillas’. That would be 36 Boats in all! This will be the last club event for '08, time to celebrate the fun we've had throughout the year, riding the rails together on another set of wheels. We'll be winding our way from Lake Oswego to John's Landing, past Powers Marine Park, two high trestles, including the 686 foot long Riverwood Trestle, continuing through the 1,396 foot long Elk Rock Tunnel, making a gradual "S" curve between the portals, creating almost total darkness at midpoint.

DATE: Saturday December 20th 2008
TIME: 5:30 PM meetup…6:00 departure DO NOT BE LATE. The trolley leaves at exactly 6:00.
