Magical MINI Tour!!! Im goin....who else?
If you're booked into the Hilton Garden Inn in Emeryville, on the Oakland side of the bay, RE-CONFIRM your reservation. Three people who booked through the travel agency set up to handle reservations weren't listed with the hotel.
Norm checked tonight with the hotel: They have plenty of rooms for Friday but are tight for Saturday.
The phone number for the hotel is (510) 658-9300.
I'm in San Rafael tonight and will be helping guide people to their parking spots on Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone from Oregon, Washington, California and other locales.
Drive safe.

I hope everyone who came along had as much fun as I did. It was a blast and the views of the city, the Golden Gate, Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge couldn't have been better.
For anyone else ever planning a trip to San Francsisco, Treasure Island is a great place to visit to take photos. It has open access and there's plenty of room to park along the waterfront to enjoy the views.

Thank you PDX and Pacific Northwest Enthusiasts!
Wow what a weekend! What an event! Thank you to all that helped make this a huge success by attending and supporting the Northern California Mini-MINI Community
.
With all the runs and off-site activities, there was no way to easily determine how successful this was until the cars starting filling up the parking lot for the banquet dinner Saturday night followed by the live concert by the Sun Kings.
We have an unofficial count of over 350 cars in the parking lot in the early evening, but the lot continued to fill after dark during the concert. There was no evening fog and just slight cool breeze making the San Francisco skyline a sparkling backdrop for the band.
Over $7000 worth of merchandise and services were awarded as door prizes during the banquet dinner, between sets at the concert, and on Sunday morning just before the Santa Cruz Mountains run. If you missed the Magical Mystery Mini Tour, you truly missed a one of a kind event!

Hey Everybody,
Debbie and I got back Tuesday afternoon, what a fun time we had
.
Lucy (my classic Mini Cooper) won the "Lucy in the sky with Diamonds" Award, too cool.
Had a blast on the "Steve McQueen" run on Sunday morning
thru the City, went down Lombard Street two times.
Here's the link to my pictures, all 154 of them.
