4 Dunlop Winter Sport DSST tires 175/60R16 - $225 - Seattle

I've got a great set of snow tires that I bought just for the rims when I had my '08 Clubman. I'm no expert, but these tires I believe were sold by Seattle MINI at that time, and I think they are still a good fit for various models. I've never used them, and it looks to me like the person I purchased from also never used them. Asking $225 for the set. HMU with any questions, corrections, etc. (I miss my MINI!)

This photo shows the little "hairs" on the outside edge are intact - zero to minimal wear!

It's right on the side with all the other marking, should be pretty easy to find. Here's a key: How To Read Tire Date Codes

Thanks, JonnyRock. The code that looks most like the guide, after DOT etc, reads [e 4] 0224809-S. So maybe made in 2009?

Gotcha. FYI it's generally recommended that tires over 10 years not be used. It's not a hard rule, just a recommendation. I once drove on 25 year old tires for a few months.

Thanks Jonny. I guess this means I won't be offended by a low offer They look brand new, having been stored indoors. But I have no way to vouch for their integrity.

I think you're usually pretty safe as long as there isn't visible cracking.

Last 4 digits of the DOT, but only on one side

When reading the DOT, the date code is sometimes only on one side of the tire. (4 digits: week and year, ex: 4521, 45th week of 2021) The other side has a blank area to be stamped with a date. Double check those tires, might not be as old as you stated. (Pic shows this side of tire the date code is missing)
