Why so long at Rasmussen?

I ordered my MC from Rasmussen in Portland early September and it's not due to arrive until the end of February. I only ordered a couple of options over the stock MC. They say I'm seventh in line, what ever that means.

A six month wait...does this sound right? I see other poster on the general list ordering after me and already taking delievery.

Yup, That's about right. You gotta realize that production is allocated (ie, dealers get a fixed number of cars in the production run), so even though Rasmussen is the only dealer in Portland, they're still pretty small. NW Mini in Seattle is the same - 5-6 months (or more) wait for any car not off the lot.

You can always talk to Murray in Salt Lake City - they seem to have pretty good prices, too.

I was lucky, since I ordered my '03 MCS the first day they were accepting orders for that model year (Oct. '02) - got it in 6 weeks - and that was when I lived in SoCal.
