Southern Oregon Mini Mechanic?
Southern Oregon Mini Mechanic?
Aloha, I just bought my first mini, a 2004S. She is sweet and needs some TLC; is anyone aware of a good Mini mechanic here in Southern Oregon. I don't love the local dealership so would rather find an independant . . . which I have for each of my other rigs but I'd like to find a mechanic who specializes in Mini's. For those who rang in earleir, i did get my battery replaced. I decided on a Centennial which cost only $116 and came with a six year warranty; the Optima 43r was $205 with a three year warranty . . . and it just didn't seem like the best option to me. And Dragonfly starts right up now!
Peace Out, Jane Janie

I am in the Medford area about once a month for a few days and work on a couple cars to keep them running in the 'dead zone' (area between sac and Portland where mini parts are non existent). Pm me with any questions
Hey Thanks for ringing in. I was just going to take my MINI in to the mechanic tomorrow but perhaps that will change. Could you call me or send me your number please. My number is 541eightninenine1467. I need the right side front end rebuilt on my 2004 MINIS - ball joints, struts, etc. Also need a passenger door lock and some fluids flushed and replaced according to Johns Car or Auto Center in Medford. I look forward to hearing fom you, Jane
I know… Really old thread … But just checking in to see if everybody is still around?
John’s auto across from the Medford airport is still a good place. They’ve done some break work for me and are very reasonable.
Ashland Automotive is pretty expensive but I had some timing issues and they did fix it for thousands of dollars.
the BMW dealer is or was at least a joke. They’re supposed “mini master mechanic” forgot to bolt on my undercarriage and it fell off as I was leaving. You don’t have faith in mechanics like that or the dealers that hire them.
