I heard that there's a number of "foreign" MINIs in the area that came without a spare, like mine. Now that I've decided to go with new tires that are not runflats, and carry a spare instead of a can, I've got to order the hardware. There's room for the spare, but nothing to hold it there, and no jack.
The dealer is getting a parts list from Canada, but I'm still not sure what is necessary. Any ideas? I haven't had any luck with a "search" on the forum.

 

Mount one on the bonnet, a la "Daktari" Land Rover. So veddy British.

 

First, i'll assume you do have the Cooper (and not the 's') ...

The spare wheel cover is number 51 71 6 800 205 and includes a cover and a holder (two separate numbers ... ask the dealer to look that up and they'll fine the rest of the parts (already in their parts list ...)
They will find these:
41 11 7 043 349 - spacer
51 71 1 510 375 - protection foil
41 11 7 044 685 - spring
41 11 7 044 687 - spring guide
51 71 6 800 127 - cover (in the boot)

and the lowering handle (51 71 0 141 079) and jack (71 12 1 501 930) are shown with the tool kit ...

Wow -- that was good! After all that searaching I did, and you came up with this list in no time. I think that takes care of it. Yeah, I do have the Cooper. I'll call the dealer.
