2006 Cadillac CTS-V Troubles

This guy has so many problems with his CTS-V he makes a documentary on all of the problems. I don't know if it's been posted already but either way the video can be found here Link.

Haha, that sucks.

While I'm not a big fan of the current CTS (love the '08 tho)..I'm sure this is just an isolated problem.

Really? Man I love the CTS-V. Vette power, Vette handling, Caddy luxury. What more could you want? Well, to each their own.

I didnt say I didnt like it, I just don't LOVE it....I'm a huge GM fan, but I don't think it's an overly refined car. It came out JUST before GM really started pumping out class-leading products. The next generation looks like a winner though.

Now since you mentioned the Corvette....THATS a car I could learn to love, haha.

I know what you mean. I fell in love with this guy's C6 Z06 around my town. Jeremy Clarkson went 0-160 or 170 mph in just 5th gear. No others. Just 5th.

Since you mention the corvette....my brother-in-law has a 02 C5 Z06 (1st year with the 405hp engine, better suspention, brakes, etc) that is brutally fast but also easy to drive normally. hE got from a guy that got a little too obsessed-it only has 9K and was a big factor in that guys divorce. Luckily my Bro-in-law views it as a fun car and doesn't mind me taking it out for a joy ride. I was never a big vette fan, untill I drove this Z06, wow is about all I can get out when it's collecting a straight away like politicians collect campaign money!

At my last job, I worked at a Chevy/Subaru dealer. The one used car tech came up to me the one day and said "Here, you can take this down the hill. I need to finish the paperwork." The keys were for a C5 Z06. I forget what year but who cares. The problem came where the battery was so dead the car would start but as soon as the clutch was let out, it would stall. I WAS SO ROBBED! Granted, I would have only been able to go 5 mph down a sloping hill, but again, I could say I drove a Z06. Maybe some day.
