lol! i like the humor. reminds me of my wife's 1/10th RC Beetle that
she painted like a Pikachu (even attached a tail) raced it at the weekend
RC races. everyone was cracking up . i took over the controls at
mid-race and the pickachuu came in first place for that class. by
that time the announcer was cracking up so hard he was crying.

Looks like the ears are attached to the rear quarter windows (which are cheap plastic), so maybe the boot still opens.

I saw one at the Scottsdale dealership.

Thanks for sharing alpinamike

the "hood" is in the rear... like Kurt said, the ears look to be mounted to the windows.. so the hatch should be able to open... here's what it looks like inside...

I saw one driving down the road during rush hour. The poor lady inside looked SCARED to death.
She was going as fast as she could (about 50?) and everyone was zipping past her at 70.... smart is not the word I'd use for someone driving that car for a commute in this city.

That is just wrong, a Smart should not be allowed to share a show room with the cars behind it!

A back shot to show where they are mounted a little better.

Good! Look how the ears were dished out to "fix" the hatch/hood clearance when opened.

Re: sharing the showroom, it is very exclusive, no matter the size (that is the issue correct?).

Its not so much the exlusivity, but that all the other cars in that show room have gobs of power under their hood, where the the Smart isn't ever going to break 90MPH

it could break 90mph easily, if you drop in the suzuki 1000cc motorcylce engine.
