Old school track day...
a friend of mine found this on youtube....

It's from a NorCal Shelby Club run at Infineon in the novice group. It's a pretty slow run because of a white shelby and a blue cobra that were dogs, but for the first 7 minutes it's my convertable ******* him in the rear view!
And it was a friend of mine driving at the time. They're just cars to me (nice ones, but just cars), and I'll pretty much lend or swap anything I've got keys for. If you see me out there, just ask!
The video was shot from a very nice track car, a ford futura. By the sound of it, it's a small block with a four speeD, limited slip, and very little sound insulation. FWIW, my 65 has a 302 with a mid performance cam, EFI, a 5 speed and 355 rear end. Nice to see my street machine can more than keep up! That was it's only track day, as it has a pretty soft suspension on it.
