kyriian- that new evo is pretty cool looking except they kinda fumbled the
tail lights... i guess one should get a black one and just black out the
tails. lol
between th rex, i would take the new evo for sure... if i was like 15yrs
younger.
the list of change-haters is pretty much the same. But if you'd read the article, there's a bunch of improvement under the skin, including a bump in displacement and power. While lots of you may lament the end of the older versions, I for one, won't miss the afterthought nightmare pre-pubescenet scoop thing that's been tacked onto the hoods for a while.... And the four door looks to be a US only variant, as we're the only country that doesn't see the wisdom of small five doors.
Anyway, with this, and the Mazdaspeed3 out there, the Clubman will have some serious competition...
An example would be like an Alfa Romeo, Alfas are always about form, it doesn't matter if it broke down 3 days a week, nor the slow-ness of its engine... its all about the looks...
That is so far off base and unsupported by history to be laughable..... I don't even know where to start. Alfas defined racing excellence for quite a while....

Matt
ill give you that, they have racing pedigree... but not so recently... im born 22 years ago so obiviously i am not been in tuned with alfa's racing heritage as you have, but isn't the point of alfas not only about racing pedigree, but also about the way they look and feel?
are they reserving that for the STi by any chance?
Thats what im thinking
Im not a fan of the evo X at all, looks just like a older gen galant. The evo IX was much better looking, and the evo X uses a completely different engine. Which IMO is a screw up on mitsu's part.
That's the first new car in a while that has actually made me laugh, it's so ugly! I mean, wow. Are they serious? I think the last thing that was so hilariously ugly was the B9 Tribeca.
There new design's alway's look 10 years old ,I know there great cars but they really need to hire some new designers before I would be interested in buying.
