For Formula 1 and Ferrari fans

Here's an amazing ad made by Shell. Be sure to turn up the speakers. It's supposedly the most expensive tv ad ever made.

Must buy Shell V-Power from now on.

Remember that Enzo's personal car was a Mini, and what he said about the Jeep, calling it "America's only true sports car."

Yes but Enzo Ferrari also derided the mid-engined layout, saying that the “horse should pull the cart, not the other way around” - he wasn't perfect

I believe he also didn't trust disc brakes. Or was that Mr. Porsche?

Ferrari was late to adopt disc brakes on its cars. I suppose having Jaguar eat you alive at LeMans was a good incentive to switch. Long live the C-type and D-type Jags.

Yup, that was Enzo. He let everyone else see if they would work and then started using them when they proved themselves.

That video is pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind owning just one of those cars

Can someone extract just the sound file and loop it for me? That way I can play it while I'm driving.

Great!!
A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to get a ride around Sears Point in a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. My first thought was " And I thought these things sounded great from the OUTSIDE!".

There is nothing that sounds like a Ferrari at full scream-they are so melodious and angry at the some time, like a high spirited, beautiful Italian woman when she's so angry but is also lovely!
