Ferrari Enzo killer faces 3 years.
I know there is a thread around here about the Ferrari Enzo wreck on the Pacific Coast Highway, searched but not found.
From AutoWeek March 5, '07 pg. 48:
End of the Road, Dietrich
Reputed Swedish mobster Stefan Erikkson- who wrote off his Ferrari Enzo last year after an ill-advised meeting with a telephone pole, then claimed that an aquaintance named Dietrich was driving- accepted a plea agreement with prosecutors. In exchange for pleading guilty to drunk driving, two counts of embezzlement and unlawful possession of a handgun, Erikkson faces a sentence of three years in prison. With credit for time served and good behavior, he'll likely be out in time to start the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2008.
What, no speeding ticket?

How'd you do that? I searched Ferrari Enzo wreck crash Pacific Coast Highway Dietrich (not so long though) and nothing came up, even with my user name.
I recently heard about a Judge from Texass caught at 90+ in a 55, in a rental car. Didn't hear about jail time for him.

SOCIETY NOTES:
DIETRICH BUSTED!
>> And here we thought he was a figment of Stefan Eriksson's imagination. Police arrested the mythical "dietrch"- well, sort of - who con man Ericksson claimed was behind the wheel in the infamous 2006 crash of his Ferrari Enzo. Eriksson did admit to driving under the influence, but the closest thing to Dietrich is actually Trevor Micheal Karney, an Ireland native [Kurt~that mean illegal alien?] who was in the Enzo at the time of the crash but claimed to have happened across the scene [Kurt~in the Mercedes that was racing him?] He was arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice and lying to authorities; he, too, told police he saw Dietrich fleeing the scene. [Kurt~must have been the double vision thing]
