Registration boo boo
Registration boo boo
I hope some NY people could help me out on this.
I purchased my Cooper S back in the summer of 2005. At the time my dealer registered the car for me. After a week or so I stopped by my dealer to pick up my plates and registration card/sticker. At the time, I didn't bothered to take a look at the info on the registration card to see if all the info was correct.
After a few weeks, I noticed under color is says "BK". Now I assume that means black but my car is blue. I should've raised hell with my dealership or whoever did the paperwork. But I figured amending the registration will take an act of congress so I didn't do anything about it.
So now it's 2007 and I have to renew my registration in a few months. Would it be easier to correct the mistake during the renewal process or there have to be an emergency session of Congress.
