? about European AWD system
? about European AWD system
For those not in the know, almost all European cars (Volvo, Audi I think, BMW, Mercedes, VW, blah blah blah) use the Haldex system. Now, the way Haldex works is its only AWD during a loss of traction. Its primarily FWD until they loose grip and the rears are activated. Does anyone else see this as BS or am I the only one? If I was dead set on buying a European AWD car, its gonna be an Audi because I have faith in the Quattro system. Its been proven on the street and the track for more than 20 years, But, if the option is there and I want AWD, it's prolly gonna be a Subaru. Whats the opinion here?
