Barbie

This confirms to all of us, that the New Beetle is a girly car.

Mattel of Mexico and Volkswagen, established an agreement to create and to present for the first time in the world the new Beetle Barbie, a real automobile that reflects the personality of the famous doll.

The Barbie is the most well-known and favorite of the Mexican children and many parts of the planet. Studies of market demonstrate that the doll has a spontaneous recognition of the 100 percent. All the children identify to Barbie thanks to their ability to adapt to the changes, the fashions, the customs and the styles of life of the children.

The Beetle Barbie comes totally customized in an incredible pink color that is not limited only the outside of the car, but that also is present in details like the applications in rims, the rugs, the tapestry of the seats and the steering wheel. The fans to the world of Barbie can already enjoy this unique automobile in their class.

The Beetle Barbie is a limited edition of 13 units that will be available in some dealers VW with a price of 262 thousand 500 pesos ($24,300 dollars approx). Some units will be drawn for in a special promotion in the departmental stores of the Iron Palace.

Pink fits the beetle's personality don't you think?
Actually I think they did a pretty good job, it's kinda cute. Like the pink piping on the floor mats....

There must be a difference between "girliness" of the Beetle vs MINI, because even if that didn't have "Barbie" written on the side, it would still look much girlier than TFQON's and MLE's pink MINIs; which anatomically-correct (I'm assuming) secure-in-their-manhood men have driven.

Chad and I went to the hardware store in Queenie's car. Girrrrrll the looks WE got mmm mm MMM mm mm!!

The only time my brother said he felt really weird driving my car alone was when he went to Home Depot. It would've been even funnier if I'd sent him there for some track lighting!

I totally agree! Their MINIs look pretty sweet all pinkified, but if I had to ride in that bug I'd pray for someone to carjack me.

ok, I just dont know who would actually drive that thing around town, I wouldn't unless I was being paid too and with a real life Barbie in the passenger seat to draw the attention away from me.

I wonder how the Marlboro Man would look behind the wheel.
