My Audi Got Hit!!!

I ended up getting an A4 (2006)......yes, I still have my 2006 MCS.

So, tonight I got a dent in the fender and the door, right where they connect on the drivers side, from a friends bumper in the driveway. They were going slow but I would say it needs a new fender and a door. The door closes fine and the car drives fine, seems to be cosmetic. Can anyone suggest a body-shop in the Denver, CO area? I am afraid of where their insurance company might send me....

Will the paint be the same? How do I guarantee they use genuine Audi products if the insurance company makes me go to some shady place?

Should I go get bids before I call my friends insurance company?

Can you help me with pointers.....this has never happened to me. I need advise.

I'd get a quote from the Audi dealer (they'll probably refer you to someone), so you at the very least have a ball park, also see who you MINI dealer reccomends and get a quote from them. Also, I'm not sure about CO, but many states including where I live require an Accident report if the damage exceedes $500, and if you state requires it then its a sure bet the insurance company will want to take a look at it.

Have you called your insurance company? Not to file a claim but if they are cool they may give you some of the ins and outs of how to deal with the other company. Just a thought.
