Hey, aren't those the smart cars that are all over europe? Don't they have a mercedes engine? Thought someone told me that when I was in Geneva in 2001. Like a crazy tourist, I took a picture of the car... with me in it!!

They are tiny!! Can you imagine the carniage from an SUV vs smart car collision? yikes!

Not as bad as you might think. They have a pretty strong passenger cage.

They need to come out with a new Roadster; preferably in a stick shift.

I saw one from Canada in the neighborhood at the '06 USGP. Literally, half the size of the MINI. It was so cool I found this on the web that night:

http://www.thesmart.ca/index.cfm?ID=4720

Also, www.smartusa.com but the Canada site lets you "configure," which I highly recomend. The Brabus package...?

I like it and I've had the pleasure of driving them in Berlin. Great car, fun and I felt totally safe smarting around. (no pun intended)

I'd hate to think about getting rear ended in one of these, anything raised would be a near death experience.

Does it come with a rack for your golf clubs?
