Cheap driving shoes

It's only $19.99!!! http://www.finishline.com/store/cata...ategoryId=null

It's not available online anymore but my local store has 'em. At this price, I picked up two pairs . Make sure you check the clearance rack.

^^ hummm... i bought a pair of pumas that looked similar to that and they
sucked as driving shoes. they were fine for walking though. if you're going
cheap, just get some Converse shoes. the flat wide bottom makes it ideal
for driving.

or, just get Piloti's... $79 for the latest ones. here's wat i use... G16's in
blue. use the right equipment.

I've got a pair of Piloti Spyders which are nice. A bit thicker sole than I expected, but it makes them comfortable for walking around in outside the car, and they still work well for driving. About the same price (or less) as a nice pair of any type of shoes...

I third the Piloti reccomendation. Although they were a gift, i'd definately shell out the cash for another pair when the time comes, very wonderful shoes.

i was out doing a quick test drive after completing my oil
change tonight on my G35C. i forgot to put my Piloti's on after
clean up and man was driving on regular shoes a pita!!!

it's a huge difference, you have to try driving shoes if you
haven't yet.

btw, my G35C's now running Mobil1. hehehe, same
blood as my MCS.

I work for Hendrick MINI and we carry Piloti driving shoes.

I am a HUGE fan of the Piloti Spyder.

Check out www.hendrickMINI.com or www.piloti.com.

I just wish to gawd I could find ANY driving shows in my size. They all only come in medium widths and I have a very narrow foot. I'd pay the price if someone would make them.

Gromit, check these out ... Pilottis ...

They dont come in anything like EE or EEE and I almost sent them back BUT, I found out the trick ...

Pop those plastic things off, go down one level on the laces, pop the tops back on ... and they fit perfect and I use EEE

The narrowest Pilotis come in, is a D width. Far too wide for me. I need an A or B.

Wrestling shoes. No SFI rating and may not always have the best heel padding, but they have the right features of a driving shoe. Good feel and a rounded edge on the sole to preclude getting caught up in the pedals.

Simpson now makes a racing "style" shoe called the Impression that is more affordable than a real racing shoe.

I have a short wide foot 8 1/2 EEE. Any suggestions as to which brand and style may be the best?
Thanks, Steve

Too bad the Pilotis are so fugly...

I have a pair of Adidas tuscanys and puma speed cats. I wear the Adidas all the time as a normal shoe just fine, the pumas are great for driving but totally suck for walking around in (no arch support).
