I just looked it up...2003 Enzo, MSRP: $643,330

with only 399 built, I'm sure $1,000,000 is much closer to what you'd have to pay to get one, but it's not MSRP.
Check the update on bottom of page, price as of 2006

See http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/22/f...-ferrari-enzo/

$1M

2003, yes $640K

http://www.carbuyer.com/search/ferrari/

$1.2M (with 400 miles)

I think the issue is that you cant get one at MSRP. They are only sold to previous LONG TIME owners. They flip them to dealers who sell for $1M. I saw that on some PBS show about Ferraris

Ah, gotcha. Well either way I can't afford one. I'm shooting for a Lamborghini Gallardo (or similar) before I hit 35, I think that would be good enough for me.

The H1 retails for $140,000, though I suspect you could buy it for less if needing a garage for your MINI. If not in motion it would likely stay anchored to the ground. It weight in at 5 tons. Though it does get "less than" 10 mpg in motion, stationary mileage is great. However, purchasers of H1s are a market share that prefers to drive. This may explain why sales are reported to be down to "a trickle".

Hummer lovers shouldn't be too sad. The H2 and even cuter H3 will still be around (asquare?), even though the U.S. sale of Prius's surpasses the number of H1s, H2s, and H3 combined.

Here's the emoticom summing up my reaction. What's anyone else's? Anyone shedding ?
The H1 was designed for the military... remember the GP (jeep) during WWII..
The military now has new requirements that the H1 can't match... it has nothing to do with public demand. The H1 is an amazingly capable vehicle that served its purpose. So what would you prefer to be in when stranded in the mountians or the desert? A prius or an H1? This comparison is just plain stupid..

I submit that if you were stranded, it wouldn't make any difference.

From having driven in Death Valley, I would rather be stranded in the Prius, I could walk to the road. The H1 will get you far enough off the road by the time you got stranded, you would die.

Sure, it's capable..

but with it's wide track, it's just not practical anywhere but off road. Seeing the shiney H1s at Draegers (high end grocery store), blocking the parking lot, driving over curbs (that the drivers probably didn't ever feel) and the like was just funny. I wonder what percentage were bought as a fasion statement vs the potential workhorse they could be.

Get 'em while they're cheap!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HUMME...QQcmdZViewItem

I saw lots and lots on eBay. Some are less expensive than this one. A lot are more. But they all are selling for much less than new. Wonder why?
