To me it looks like a modern version of the old indy cars. I can't believe an electric car is THAT fast, but apparently it is true!

 

I think it was discussed a couple months ago. Take an Ariel Atom and convert it to electric. A very fast combination. I'd drive it...I'd drive the Atom too ; )

 

I''l take the Atom, even faster but well worht the cost of petrol, and seeing as it is a 2 litre honda it can't really be that bad on gas.

 

For $100k, I don't think people will be wating in line to get one, maybe a few (very well off) environmentally conscious folks. But this and similar projects help dispell the common mis-conception that electric-power implies slow.
