SUBARU strike again!!!
Subaru did the same thing for the WRX, its faster than Porshe Boxter, etc. etc. insert sports car here. It's still a civic w/ a turbo, what's the big deal. I'm sure no one with a 350z is crying because a Forrester is faster in a straight line

Reminds me of a 5.0 mustang getting shown up by a Lexus LS430.

There is a Forrester XT that runs the local auto cross and does pretty good. Also a 350z runs. I don't know the person that runs the Forrester but the guy that runs the 350z is very skilled in auto cross. I'm not a Subaru fan but based on the times of the last auto cross. The Forrester wasn't a slouch.
lol!!im not talking about "rougher" ...my 06 legacy's 2.5L is silky smooth.
im talking about the lack of power there is unless in cold dry temps.
go try it in hot weather and come back. i had a modded wrx with
piggyback and 12k+ of mods. i know. i hate inconsistencies in
turbo cars although they are getting more adaptive to climate
in closed loop.

now I know why your Mini looks like a WRX

I cufrrently Own a 06 Imprezza STi, and it is very wonderful for me as a daily driver.. not too rough because i know my Mini is MUCH rougher. I like AWD, I like the turbo, I like the rally portion, I like going off road, I like being able to rely on a tough turbo awd rally car for my daily driver. I owned it for two weeks and have nearly 3k miles on it.. But if the STi forrester comes ashore, I will definately trade my Impreza STi in for it.
