Serious package!

Speaking of gas prices... I was absolutely STOKED to fill up @ 2.05/gal. here last week. That was 87, not the good stuff the MINI gets

I can accept that it's functional, but it's so very ugly. At least the Durango and VW are a little easier on the eyes.

You want unique?

Lots of storage?

Tons of towing capacity?

More gears than you can possibly use?

Go absolutely anywhere capability?

How about doubling as a tractor?

Check out a Unimog. There is NOTHING else like it on the road. There are companies that bring new ones over from Europe, or you can also find used ones around as well.

on ebay (this is a new one though)

I still don't see why he needs that much unless he's pulling the dam crane himself.

No I can't.

Make sure you get the optional brush guard pictured, it may come in handy in all those off road situations!

There are different trucks to meet different needs, I had the oppurtunity to do a toyota test drive and compare two of there models, and the ride was much better than I was expecting, very smooth and a low cg 4WD availible, and its a toyota so it is made to last and has won lots of awards recently, I too would stay away for GM b/c of the finacial question, the honda ridge line looks like a great comprimise b/w SUV and truck w/ lots of storage comartments. and the F150 outsells everything on north america right now, but don't know too much about it and dogde has a HEMI the older ones I've been a passemger in older ones and wasn't thrilled seemed like a workhose more than a regular use vehilce.

H2s on 22s oooooo.

Wow it must be getting late.

Anyway...

Just have him get the truck he wants. That's all that matters. Right now my dad is really bent on an X5 Bimmer. I told him go for it. If he gets an H2 just let me know and give me the VIN, and I'll go over and christen it "S.S. Newdl"

For our work vehicle we have a Nissan Titan LE Crew Cab. It is a great truck, tows about 9000 lbs and is very roomy and fun to drive. I don't know what people around here have against the looks of the Nissan/Infiniti vehicles, I like them. I have gotten to where I absolutely hate the GM,Ford, Chevy looks. I can tolerate the Dodge stuff, but it's gotten to be OTT in the "look at my big bad*** grill" thing. Talk about compensating We test drove absolutely everything out there, from Land Rover to Toyota and everything in between. Our final 2 were the Nissan Titan/Armada or the VW Touraeg. We loved the VW, but decided that it was a bit too pricey for what we would be using it for. We've had the Titan since June and are glad we have it! Also, the Titan Talk forums are a great bunch of folks, too!

I no I shouldn't say it, but I like HUMMER's. And grills. And gold dollar sign medallions. And big clock necklaces like Flava Flav wears. And diamond studded spinners. Pretty much anything shiny and obnoxious. No, I don't actually have any of these things, but if I had the money I would. Well, no, just the HUMMER probably.

DEFINITELY THE G-WAGON!!!!!! Those things are awesome....they did a review on Top Gear.....it got rave reviews....plus you'd be an individual!!

Check out this video:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...360&q=top+gear

"now unless I'm mistaken, supermodels are powerless to resist a man with illuminated door sils!"

As for the Hummer and that Dodge thing......If you drove anything like that in Australia people would stop and stare at you and point! I always felt awkward in the US when I'd pull up at the lights with too monster trucks flankning me.....
