What was your first car you ever owned?
Well I have a story to tell! My first car is the LY/LU CVT MC, My second car to own and is on the way is a JB/B MCS. Man am I lucky or what? BTW I paid for nearly all the cars in my family. And MyBrosCoop is my younger brother who is getting the Yellow Bomber (LY CVT MC) as his first car.

First Car: '62 Rambler American that a farmer gave me for working for him all summer when I was 14. It died on the way home.
First car that ran: '65 Nova that quickly led to a '68 Firebird.... but that's another story

1980 Chevy Monza. My dad bought it for me in 1988 when I was in college. It was black and maroon, but it had originally been silver. As some point in its life, someone painted it glossy black. With a paintbrush. I had it for 2+ years, during which time the headliner fell (easily fixed with alot of staples), the driver door hinge broke (just tie it closed!), and it went through 4 oil pumps. It stranded me many times along the Garden State Parkway. I hated that car. When I finally drove it sputtering and spewing oil to the junkyard, I kicked it. Hard. It broke my toe.

2000 Oldsmobile Bravada, black w. tan interior. Named Brandy. Looked just like this:

Not very exciting, but she served me very well over the years. It didn't accelerate very well or move very fast but it hauled lots of people, towed many a trailer, and was my first love. I miss you, baby.

I learned how to drive on my first vehicle when I was 19. 1984 Kawasaki 900 Ninja.

After that bike died I went through a series of cheap broken cars untill I met my wife.
My wife (who is not on this board) had a 1984 Honda Accord.

My first car was a '72 Z600 Honda coupe hatchback, one of those tiny tiny Hondas that were made for only a couple of years. Anybody know those? I bought it used and as I was driving home the car began to overheat. I realized I had made a terrible mistake. I had owned the car less than a week when it stalled at a stop sign, and a pick-up truck (twice the size of my vehicle) smashed into me and totalled the car (it didn't take much). It was technically the truck's fault since he hit me from behind. I got more money back from the insurance co. than I'd paid for the car. Kind of a miracle for me at the time. Bye Bye tiny vehicle--until now. Expecting my PW/B Mini with red tartan seats in May or June.
Have owned a funky old Volvo and a Honda Civic in between.

My first car was a '71 Toyota Corolla. It had a 1200cc engine, 4-speed, and 12" wheels. I had hit something and twisted the front end a bit, and could have had it fixed for what is now a pittance, but I chose to get rid of it. I've always believed that if I had had the fix done I'd still have that car today. I loved that car.
Other cars I've owned:
'72 Corolla - 1600cc and 13" wheels - a step up! But not as much fun.
'79 Rabbit - not an ounce of trouble in tens of thousands of miles - until I wrecked it.
'81 Civic - nice, characterless transportation - 'til I wrecked it.
'76 Nova - was _completely_ worn out at 160k miles when given to me by a friend when I needed a car as a stop-gap. It lasted about a month.
'81 210 Wagon - nice blah little nothing whose MacPhearson strut towers disintrgrated.
'67 Impala/Biscayne/Caprice? - great car. Had nothing in it except that 327 V8. Ran it until the camshaft wore out. Sold it to a restorer who stripped it down for his own '67.
'73 Delta 88 - another barge on wheels. This car was the rat's rat (rotted everywhere, shredded vinyl roof), but ran great for the coupla years I had it. Finally sold it when I moved further away from my job and couldn't afford to feed it anymore. Also, the neighbors in the better neighborhood I moved to were looking at me funny. This car was _that_ bad looking.
'75 Duster - great car. Everything on it except the engine had to be replaced at one time or another. I finally said 'no more' when the _entire_ brake system had to be replaced. We had this car through the Impala, Delta, 210, and probably one other one.
'95 Saturn - my first ever new car. Kept it eight almost trouble-free years.
'03 Monte Carlo SS - I've had this since new. Competent for a big car.
'73 Mach 1 - About 25 years ago I had a girlfriend that had a '71 Sportsroof that I loved to drive. I picked up the '73 about 3 years ago. It's in great shape and only goes out occasionally.
('05 Cooper) - picking up in about a month!
Although I drive my wife's cars, I didn't include them in the above list (her '95 Saturn, '04 Monte Carlo, '01 Impala).

First car? The "Anti-MINI" - a whale of a powder blue 1975 Olds 88 Delta Royale Convertible. Could seat 6 in comfort with a Mini in the trunk, got like 14 mpg on a good day with a tailwind.
I've come a LONG WAY, BABY!!!

'69 buick skylark... all primer grey with some nice flecks of bondo showing through. i remember driving that car at night over a bridge on the NJ turnpike and the battery lost connection to the terminal since it was loose. the whole car went off lights and all. i had to pull over and break up one of my credit cards to jam it in there to keep the battery cable on.
