Myers Motors Sparrow
I saw this at an auto show. It's not a car, but classified as a motorcycle. It's all electic, no gas required. It goes up to 70 mph. It probably corners better than a MINI. Anyone know more about it?
IIRC it was developed by Mike Corbin (who makes custom motorcycle seats and some truly, memorably, jaw-droppingly ugly body mods for bikes as well). When Corbin couldn't make any money on them (seems nobody much wants a cramped, short mileage electric vehicle with really poor visibility. What a surprise!) it appears that he managed to find somebody willing to take the thing off his hands.
As regards cornering, don't bet the farm that it'll corner worth a hoot. The dynamics of three wheeled vehicles are strange. Two wheels in the front was tried by a number of folks including Morgan and largely dropped. Two wheels in the back developed as the standard with bikes, and three wheels running parallel to each other but with none of them lined up directly behind or directly next to each other seems the norm for sidecar racers (who are all clinically insane anyhow). A tall three wheeled narrow track vehicle like that will put you on your head long before you reach the cornering speeds of a MiNi.
